Fig. 6

Correlation of cortical thickness and cortical mean diffusivity with the CDR® plus NACC FTLD-SB. Relationship of cortical thickness (A) and cortical mean diffusivity (B) with the CDR® plus NACC FTLD scores. The CDR® plus NACC FTLD-SB scores were negatively correlated with cortical thickness and positively correlated with cortical mean diffusivity. Cortical thickness analyses were adjusted for age, sex, handedness, and MRI scan. Mean diffusivity analyses were adjusted for age, sex, and handedness after a harmonization step. Only clusters that survived family-wise error correction (P < .05) are shown. Abbreviations: CDR, clinical dementia rating; CDR® plus NACC FTLD-SB, CDR Dementia Staging Instrument plus National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center Behavior and Language Domains sum of boxes; lvPPA, logopenic variant of primary progressive aphasia; nfvPPA, non-fluent/agrammatic variant of primary progressive aphasia; svPPA, semantic variant of primary progressive aphasia
