Correlation between MMSE score and insoluble Aβ or α-syn. The best-fit linear regression (solid lines) and 95% confidence intervals (interrupted lines) are superimposed. Only significant P-values (and associated correlation coefficients) are shown in the figure. In all regions except the thalamus, the level of insoluble pSer129 α-syn showed significant negative correlation with the MMSE score. The score also showed a significant negative correlation with midfrontal insoluble Aβ42 and total insoluble α-syn.
